About the Role:
An Agrocares Company is seeking dynamic and experienced Sales Officers with a background in Agriculture (BSc or MSc Ag) to drive business growth and customer engagement across key regions in Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar, and Lakhimpur. You will be responsible for promoting agricultural products and services, building relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell agro-based products and services to farmers, retailers, and distributors
- Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and awareness campaigns
- Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners, agri-input dealers, and end customers
- Collect and analyze market intelligence and competitor activity
- Generate sales reports, forecasts, and feedback for management
- Ensure timely payment collection and after-sales support
- Participate in local agri-events, exhibitions, and training programs
Qualifications & Skills:
- BSc or MSc in Agriculture or related field
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in agri-input/product sales (fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, agri-tech, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of rural/agricultural markets in Uttar Pradesh
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned region
- Own two-wheeler preferred
